Travel and Tourism Management
Explore the dynamic and increasingly important travel and tourism industry, with an emphasis on Qatar’s exciting future as a travel destination. Using a combination of practical and academic approaches, you will learn about the management as well as the strategic development of the Qatari and international travel and tourism sector. Whether you are new to the travel and tourism business or have experience of working in a related organisation the qualification will enhance your management prospects.
The HNC and HND qualifications in International Travel and Tourism Management at City College offer a choice of a general Travel and Tourism Management strand at Level 4 and one general and three specialist pathways at Level 5.
Students take a total of 15 units (240 credits) to gain their diploma over the course of two years of full-time study.
BTEC students will
enjoy varied learning through lectures, guest speakers, seminars, individual
and group work, practical sessions, role play and experiential learning.
City College plans to add a progression pathway to the corresponding Bachelor Degree in the near future.
